Canerector Foundation Scholarship Program

Description: The Canerector Foundation established the Canerector Foundation Scholarship Program at Holland College to support students pursuing careers in the trades. The goal of the Canerector Foundation Scholarship Program is to promote the skilled trades sector, to develop future leaders in the trades, and to help graduates expand their networks and make a successful transition into the workforce.

Criteria: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering their first year of study in an eligible program at Holland College. Applicants must have a 70% average from their previous education (high school, post-secondary etc.) and provide a letter of reference from a recent teacher or employer.

Successful applicants must maintain a 70% average while enrolled at Holland College and participate in two leadership / mentorship events throughout the academic year. Canerector Foundation Scholarship recipients will be expected to play a role in designing and hosting these events as members of a planning committee. Please note: Failure to maintain a 70% average or participate in the aforementioned events will result in forfeiting any further instalments.

Successful applicants may receive up to $5,000 during their studies depending on their program of study.
