Joyce Pickles Leadership Award

Description: This annual award of approximately $1,200 was established by the board members from the Charlotte and Stamper Residences community care facilities on the occasion of the retirement of Joyce Pickles, honouring her more than 34 years of leadership and contribution to community care.

Criteria: Applicants must be entering Holland College’s Resident Care Worker program, demonstrate financial need and show, through a written essay, a passion for the field, and an aptitude to excel.
