Chief Myles Burke Award

Description: Myles Burke, former Chief of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service, and alumnus of Holland College’s Atlantic Police Academy, passed away suddenly in 2011. To honour his memory, Cape Breton businessman Joseph Shannon established an award in Chief Burke’s name.

Criteria: The successful recipient will be an individual who demonstrates financial need and a solid work ethic. Volunteer experience will be considered an asset.
