Darrell Boutilier Memorial Award

Description: In June of 2025, Dean Boutilier and Jo-Ann Campbell-Boutilier established the Darrell Boutilier Memorial Award in honour of Dean’s dad who passed away on May 21st, 2025. Darrell grew up in trying financial circumstances and as a result, was a resilient, resourceful man who could tackle any job and was lovingly known as a “Jack of all trades”. He was as an automotive technician by profession, and spent many years buying, renovating, and selling homes and cars with his wife, Shirley, throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Florida. In his retirement, Darrell spent many happy hours on the river fishing or performing music in his band. He was also known to play a mighty game of dice or cribbage with his grandchildren. Dean and Jo-Ann have chosen to honour Darrell’s life and memory by investing in the education of a Holland College student who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing a path in the trades.
