Saint Dunstan’s University Health Studies Awards for PEI High School graduates

Description: In 2024, Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors established an annual slate of entrance awards for PEI students who are planning on living and working in PEI post-graduation who demonstrate financial need, and who are entering one of the following programs: Advanced Care Paramedicine, Primary Care Paramedicine, Practical Nursing, and Resident Care Worker Two awards for each program are available, one for PEI students who graduated from a PEI high school and one for those who have completed the PEI Adult Education program.

Criteria: PEI residents who graduated or are graduating from a PEI high school entering their first year.

Applies to: Advanced Care Paramedicine, Primary Care Paramedicine, Practical Nursing and Resident Care Worker.

Advanced Care Paramedicine 1 x $2500
Primary Care Paramedicine 1 x $3000
Practical Nursing 1 x $3000
Resident Care Worker 1 x $1500

Students must submit a short essay describing their plans and intentions post-graduation to live and work in PEI
