Professional Firefighter Graduation Award of Excellence

Description: This graduation award for firefighters was established by the Fleming family, honouring the career and faithful service of Paul Fleming. Paul worked his way up through the ranks, retiring in 2019 as the Fredericton, New Brunswick Fire Chief, after 34 years of service.

Criteria: This award is nomination based – applications are not accepted. Nominees must be graduating from Holland College’s Professional Firefighting program, achieve academic excellence, and embody characteristics Paul is known for – loyalty, integrity, and leadership.
