Hill Family Entrance Award

Description: The Hill Family Entrance Award is an annual award created by Holland College alumnus and Distinguished Alumnus Award recipient Jamie Hill and his wife Tracy to benefit single parents attending Holland College who have the responsibility to support dependent children. It is the Hill family’s hope to ease the financial burden for single parents, making post-secondary education possible where it might not have been otherwise.

Criteria: Applicants must be entering their first year of studies in a post-secondary program at Holland College and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must also be primary caregivers to one or more dependents. Applicants will submit an essay outlining their professional promise and financial need for the award.
