Brian and Jane McMillan Bursary for Graduates of Adult Education

Description: To celebrate the 2018 retirement of then Holland College President, Dr. Brian McMillan, the Brian McMillan Legacy Fund was established by the Holland College Foundation. Contributions were made by faculty, staff, board members, and others in the community to honour Brian’s exemplary leadership during his 13 years as President.

Criteria: Applicants must have been enrolled in the Adult Education program within the last year and be entering their first year of studies in a Holland College program.
Applicants must demonstrate, through a written essay, their interpersonal skills, desire to learn, self-directed nature, and how have overcome adversity in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Applications must also include a demonstration of financial need and a letter of support from an Adult Education instructor.
