Rotary Club of Montague Entrance Bursary for Kings County Students

Description: Established in 1986, the Rotary Club of Montague has had tremendous impact in Kings County, leading and contributing significantly to community projects. The Rotary Club of Montague extends its philanthropy into education by establishing the Rotary Club of Montague Entrance Bursary for Kings County Students.

Criteria: Applicants must be from Eastern Prince Edward Island, as defined by the region east of the Stratford town line, and entering their first year of studies in a program at Holland College and demonstrate financial need. First consideration will be given to applicants who have experienced a break in their education and are returning to school, or have the responsibility of one or more dependents as a single parent.This award is renewable for second year pending the recipients receiving 70% in their chosen program.
