Wayne Young Journalism Award

Description: The Wayne Young Journalism Award was established by Melanie Jackson, a Holland College Journalism alumna. Wayne, a retired Holland College instructor, was especially instrumental in Melanie’s career success and Melanie wanted to express her thanks by way of helping mature students further their education.

Criteria: Applicants must be out of the secondary school system for a minimum of five years and demonstrate financial need.
