Erskine Smith Memorial Award for the Performing and Visual Arts

Description: Erskine Smith was the founder and Artistic Director of The Victoria Playhouse. He was also an educator and mentor, dedicated to sharing his knowledge and love of the theatre. Erskine enriched many lives by instructing and encouraging young people in the theatrical arts. The Erskine Smith Memorial Award for the Performing Arts has been established by family and friends in memory of his generous spirit.

Criteria: Applicants must be entering their first year of studies in one of the below programs and demonstrate, through a submitted essay, exceptional promise in the arts, as well as financial need.

Applies to: Music Performance, Fundamental Arts, Graphic Design, Photography and Videography, Video Game Art and Animation.
