The Inn at Bay Fortune Culinary Arts / Pastry Arts Award for Indigenous Students of Atlantic Canada
Description: The Inn at Bay Fortune Culinary Arts/Pastry Arts Award for Indigenous Students will be given to an individual of Indigenous descent from Atlantic Canada who is entering their first year of Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts at Holland College. Successful recipients will be eligible to receive the award again in their second year of studies (if taking Culinary Arts) provided they are in good academic standing.
Criteria: Applicants must be of Indigenous descent living in Atlantic Canada and entering their first year of studies in Culinary or Pastry Arts. Applicants must not be receiving funds from another source. Preference will be given to mature students who have had a break in their education.
Applicants must submit a short essay answering the following:
1. I want to study and work in the Culinary or Pastry Arts field because…

3. My long-term goal is …
It is important to note that applicants a shortlist of applicants will be asked to participate in an interview.
