Mighty Oaks Academy

In 2022, Darla Farquharson and Erin Reid Terrio, co-owners of Mighty Oaks Academy, established an annual $500 entrance award for deserving students in memory of their friend and colleague, Traci Lynch, who passed away in 2015. Traci was a passionate preschool educator who enjoyed providing various learning activities to the children in her care and fostering meaningful relationships with families. It is their wish to honour Traci’s memory by investing in students entering full time in Holland College’s Early Childhood Care and Education program.
