Josh Buchanan, in Memory of

The Josh Buchanan Memorial Award has been established by Sid and Glenna Smith in memory of Joshua Buchanan, a young man with great potential, who tragically passed away in 2021 as a result of a snowmobile accident. Josh was a cousin and in addition, worked at their business, Sid’s Plumbing. Josh was a dedicated, hardworking employee who graduated from Holland College’s Plumbing / Pipefitting program in 2016. One of the proudest days of Josh’s young life was the day he obtained his Red Seal certification. Josh had ambition and a work ethic that belied his 23 years. His wonderful disposition and presence will be forever missed by his family, coworkers, and friends.
