Russell Stewart, in Memory of

In 2021, Dave Stewart and Dave Morrow established an award in the memory of Stewart’s father, Russell Stewart, who was a founding instructor at Holland College, and who was instrumental in establishing its Commercial Design program. Russell was also a fine artist who firmly believed in nurturing artistic/design talent and had a special understanding of those who struggled on the path towards following their talents. The Russell Stewart Memorial Award for Graphic Design Students will be given to deserving students who are enrolled in Holland College’s Graphic Design program.
