Adam Grant

In March 2026, Adam Grant, Holland College alum and owner of Mr. Lube + Tires in Charlottetown, established two, $1,000 awards for students entering their first year of Holland College’s Automotive Technology program. Adam established these awards to help ease the financial burden students face both during their studies and when purchasing the tools required for working in the trade after graduation. He hopes to broaden awareness for students that there are a wide range of career paths in the automotive industry, including opportunities to work at independent shops that support employees in pursuing and achieving their Red Seal certification. Ultimately, Adam’s hope is to reduce students’ financial pressures and encourage future technicians to pursue long, successful careers in the trade.
